This event serves to strengthen academic ties between the two universities and to inform our students of the benefits of the program.
From September 27 to 29, Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola received a visit from University of South Florida (USF) academic authorities. USF is one of the most important universities in the state of Florida, and one with which we hold academic exchanges as a way of offering our students educational quality.
One of our guests was Amy Russo, academic advisor at USF’s MUMA College of Business, who encouraged students interested in business and who would like to participate in the program to do so. “We offer courses that will prepare you for the future,” she told them.
Amy Russo and Jacqueline Nelson, senior director of Undergraduate Programs at the MUMA College of Business, also gave talks at the following schools: La Molina Christian Schools, Rousseau, Champagnat Maristas, Lima International School of Tomorrow, America Callao High School, Americano Miraflores and San Ignacio de Recalde.
USF has become one of our main strategic partners, since we share the goal of shaping leading professionals who contribute to society. The agreement is executed through the Center for Global Education, the first North American bachelor’s degree program in General Business Administration in Peru.
It is worth mentioning that in 2015, the USIL founder and president of the board, Raúl Diez Canseco Terry, was honored by USF with the President´s Global Leadership Award, in recognition of his leadership and contribution to innovation in education at the global level.
